The elementary AppCenter

The idea of a software center for elementary OS is not new, it's been around since Jupiter. Only now the AppCenter is starting to take form and gained some usability.

The interface design is as simple as it can be. Apps are sorted in categories similar to the Ubuntu Software Centre, and anything can be installed or uninstalled with the click of a button. The nifty plank status bar makes the installation process seem very polished and stylish at the same time.
This is just the beginning of the elementary AppCenter. What can we hope to see in the future versions? Maybe a section that showcases new and popular apps, ratings reviews and some nice looking animations:
Now to the good part, to check out AppCenter in all its glory, simply run this command in your terminal (Luna):

sudo apt-get install appcenter
