App Review: Snap

Snap, written by Mario Guerriero, is a simple app which lets you take photos and videos with your webcam.

This is the interface. It's nearly self-explanatory.
On the left, next the red button at the top, you can switch between 2 modes:

Photo

Video

To have some fun, you should try out the effects Snap has included. To choose one, simply click on the "Effects" Button on the very left.

As you can see, there's a lot to choose from. To apply an effect, click on the corresponding button. At the bottom, you can see all the photos and videos you've taken. You can order them by, All, Photos only, or Videos only.
Currently, you can't view pictures directly in Snap, only previews. To view all the photos and videos you've taken, navigate to ~/Pictures/Webcam to see all your photos, ~/Videos/Webcam to see all of your videos.

It has bugs now, e.g. clicking on the settings, you'll just get an empty grey window and you can only close it by clicking your "Esc"-key on your keyboard.
To install Snap, paste into the terminal:
sudo apt-get install snap-photobooth
